A Star of David drawn in thin lines inside a circle and surrounded by a field of small checks. Eight strips in each half and more than a hundred and fifty turns in the cutting make this one of the hardest in the gallery. The halves mirror each other, so there is only one template. Use firm paper and take the time it needs; the thin lines do not survive a slipping pair of scissors.
