A red square on its point inside a white square inside a red square, with a narrow white frame and a small red dot at the middle of each side. Five strips in each half: the outer cuts are straight, and the middle two have four bends of 45 degrees. The halves mirror each other, so one template covers both, and the difficulty is easy. Cut the slanted stretches along a ruler so that the red square's corners meet the middles of the white one's sides. The pattern is no. 366g in Hjerter til Juletræet, published by Alfred Jacobsens Kunstforlag in 1924; the designer signed only ThLL.
Difficulty Easy
Symmetry Mirror symmetry – one template for both sides
