Glaskuppel

by Thomas Ahle & Claude · 7 × 7 strips

The chequerboard seen through a glass dome lying on the heart: the middle is magnified, and the fields crowd together towards the rim of the glass, worked out from how the light bends. Seven strips in each half; every cut runs straight at the edges and bends round the dome. The halves mirror each other, and one template covers both. Medium difficulty; the fields along the rim are narrow, so weave them gently.
