Kagome

Regular hexagons and triangles in a perfectly even pattern, the one called a kagome lattice. The hexagons stand with their flat side up, and the pattern is mirror-symmetric about the heart's centre line. Each half has five cuts and so six strips, cut as straight diagonal lines. The halves mirror each other, so one template covers both, and the difficulty is hard. Cut the diagonals against a ruler and take care at the narrow strips near the edge.

Difficulty Hard
Symmetry Mirror symmetry – one template for both sides
