Hooks

Hooks that grip one another and turn about the centre like a whirl. Four strips of equal width in each half, and all three cuts are waves of semicircles that switch sides. Both halves are cut from the same template, and the difficulty is hard. The pattern turns rather than mirrors, so lay the two halves as in the picture before weaving, and turn the paper rather than the scissors in the curves. From Per V. Mortensen's Circles in Hearts.
