Squares
by Thomas Ahle · 2 × 2 strips
Two large red squares with a white hole in the middle, set against two small red diamonds. Only two strips in each half, the lowest count in the gallery, but each strip turns many times to draw the squares. The halves are not alike, so each side has its own template. The cutting goes quickly; it is the weaving that takes concentration, because the wide strips have to cross in the right order.
Difficulty Medium
Symmetry No mirror symmetry – one template for each side
