Drops hanging in long chains towards the point of the heart. Four strips in each half, one wide, two medium and one narrow, and the three cuts are rows of semicircles that all bulge the same way. Both halves are cut from the same template, and the difficulty is expert. Every drop ends in a sharp point where two arcs meet, so cut into the point from both sides rather than turning the scissors there. From Per V. Mortensen's Circles in Hearts.
